With our highly skilled team trained in all aspects of automatic gearboxes, from the earliest two speed automatic gearboxes right up to the latest intricate hybrid models; your cars transmissions are in good hands. We also offer repairs and services for all makes and models of transfer boxes for 4x4 vehicles.

In order to offer our clients an efficient and competitive service we have invested in the latest automotive diagnostic equipment and specialist tools. This means we can communicate with your vehicle, diagnose the fault and repair it quickly. 

We provide a removal and fitting service at our fully equipped 750m2 workshops in Estepona.  We can also do minor repairs related to the automatic gearbox and connected systems. Sometimes all that is needed is an adjustment or small repair to get the car back on the road. We also offer an automatic gearbox maintenance service; this is a quick service that can help to avoid more costly future repairs. 

Clients wishing to send an automatic gearbox or transfer box by courier can do so. We can arrange this for you. We will ship the unit back and provide an installation checklist with telephone back up to ensure the part is fitted correctly. 

All our work is subject to stringent checking procedures at every stage, this way we can be sure that all the work is done correctly, and to high standards. Because of this we can confidently guarantee all work for 12 months or 25000 kms.

With parts suppliers in the USA, Europe and Asia we can offer our services for all makes and models. This includes all classic cars right through to the latest eight speed hybrids. With technical assistance from ATSG, a North American technical service group, and Europe’s leading manufactures and rebuilders, we have the latest information and technology at hand to solve any automatic gearbox problem. 

Over the years many companies have dedicated themselves to the improvement of the original design and materials used in automatic gearboxes. These modifications are made to improve the automatic gearboxes performance and life. At Cajas Automaticas Transmatic we incorporate these modifications into our work, this means we are confident many of our gearboxes are better than new and will give longer service, as new automatic gearboxes do not include these parts or changes. This can be from a simple set of springs and valves to improve shift feel, right up to race spec valve bodies and clutch power packs. This means we can offer different kinds of service, from a standard rebuild, including small modifications to ensure durability, to a full competition spec automatic gearbox for race or trial vehicles.
